The area high schools of note are Connally and Lanier.

Food Scene
It’s always difficult to narrow down top food spots in Austin, but no North Austin list would be complete without Top Notch. For pizza people, there’s Pour House with a variety of pies and brews.

When it’s time to unwind for the day, there are plenty of options. You can enjoy a modern stay in the business district of the Domain at Aloft Hotel. If you’re looking for something with a little more southern hospitality but just as much class, try the Archer Hotel Austin. You can also keep it simple with nearly a dozen more choices in the Domain alone!
