Georgetown is just up Interstate 35 from Austin. Directly north of Georgetown, SH 130 and I-35 intersect, making for quick, easy transportation into the Austin Metro. Bisecting the city from east to west is Highway 29, making it easy to get to other lovely parts of Williamson County, like Liberty Hill.

School System
Georgetown Independent School District is the area’s public school system entity. The district boasts 10 elementary schools, 5 middle schools, and 3 high schools, including Georgetown High School.

Downtown GT has an abundance of small shops and boutiques. From quaint bookshops to antiques to clothing outfitters with southern charm, there is bound to be a place for you. If you want to go a little more mainstream, you can check out the department stores at Wolf Ranch Shopping Center.

This city is soaked in history. Check out the iconic Williamson County Courthouse and Downtown Area, including the Palace Theater, to see beautiful architecture. The Williamson Museum is another great stop for some history!
